Khor was founded in 2019 in Bologna, Italy by Marco Pontone out of a personal
passion for mechanical keyboards. What started as a hobby quickly grew into a
custom cable maker recognised within the European mechanical keyboard community,
serving enthusiasts, keyboard designers and vendors across Europe and worldwide.
Khor specialises in handmade USB and audio cables for mechanical keyboards,
assembled to order using premium materials. Cable constructions include soft
silicone, paracord sleeved in Techflex, Canare L4-E5S professional audio cable,
Lindy clear cable and MDPC-X sleeving. Cables use high-quality detachable
push-pull connectors for clean and reliable connections.
Khor also designs the SAM series of custom keyboard PCBs — the SAM60 and
SAM80 — powered by the RP2040 microcontroller and compatible with QMK and VIAL
firmware. These are designed in-house and produced through JLCPCB.
Khor is a GMK Authorized Vendor, working with designers of sought-after keycap
sets in the mechanical keyboard community.
